V isual design is a category incorporating web design and graphic design. I think it describes a hybrid of the analog (or print) and digital worlds.

I have always loved making books. I have found that traditional book design theory applies to many digital formats. The "pages" of a web site, EPUBs and PowerPoint documents all possess beginnings, middles and endings; components that are the structural default of the traditional book. I have included a selection of these formats, as well as my early work with typographic fabric prints, a "visual book" of a different sort.
